ORIGINALLY A CHAPEL UNDER THE PARISH OF CALUMPIT. BECAME A CHURCH, 1731, FR. JUAN ALBARRAN, AUGUSTINIAN, FIRST CURATE. REBUILT, 1871, BY FR. IGNACIO MANZA NARES. TAKEN OVER BY THE FILIPINO CLERGY, 1896. FR. CLEMETE GARCIA, FIRST FILIPINO CURATE. SUCCEEDED BY FR. DR. MARIANO SEVILLA, 1902-1922; FR. EXEQUIEL MORELOS, 1922-1936. IMROVED BY FR. CELESTINO RODRIGUEZ, CURATE SINCE 1936, ASSISTED BY THE CONGREGATION OF THE RELIGIOSAS DE LA VIRGEN MARIA (R.V.M.).
