OF THE PHILIPPINES

ORGANIZED BY MANILA LODGE NO. 342, CAVITE LODGE NO. 350 AND CORREGIDOR NO. 386 UNDER THE GRAND LODGE OF CALIFORNIA, F. & A.M. AS GRAND LODGE OF PHILIPPINE ISLANDS, 12 DECEMBER 1912. DR. HARRY EUGENE STAFFORD, FIRST GRAND MASTER. MERGED WITH THE REGIONAL GRAND LODGE OF THE GRAN ORIENTE ESPAÑOL, 14 FEBRUARY 1917, LED BY SENATE PRESIDENT MANUEL L. QUEZON, THE FIRST FILIPINO GRAND MASTER, 1918. BRETHREN SERVED IN THE 1934 CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION AND IN THE COMMONWEALTH GOVERNMENT. CLOSED DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR; MEMBERS FOUGHT AGAINST THE JAPANESE FORCES 1942–1945. LODGES ESTABLISHED IN CHINA, JAPAN, KOREA, MARIANAS ISLANDS AND VIETNAM. RENAMED THE MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF THE PHILIPPINES, 1954.
