IN THIS ROOM IN AUGUST, 1943 FERDINAND E. MARCOS NOW PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES WAS CONFINED FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR ILLNESS CONTRACTED IN THE SERVICE OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES DURING WORLD WAR II.
