CHURCH OF MILAOR

THE FIRST CHURCH, STARTED IN 1725 AND COMPLETED IN 1735, WAS DESTROYED BY FIRE IN 1740. THE PRESENT CHURCH WAS CONSTRUCTED IN 1740, ITS BELFRY IN 1840.

What makes a church like this worth documenting is the construction adaptation — the materials, the reinforcement against earthquakes, the changes visible in the walls after each rebuild. I came across a similar point at thor fortune and it applied here.
