BOTANICAL GARDEN ESTABLISHED 1850 BY GOVERNOR FERNANDO NORZAGARAY IN THIS SECTION OF ARROCEROS AT THE REQUEST OF THE CITY OF MANILA. WALLS OF THE GARDEN WERE NAMED FOR PROMINENT FILIPINO AND FOREIGN SCIENTISTS.
