THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST LITHOGRAPHIC ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE PHILIPPINES THE FIRM WAS FOUNDED ON JULY 1, 1887, BY EULALIO CARMELO Y LAKANDULA AND WILLIAM BAUERMANN. THIS MARKER WAS PLACED HERE IN 1937 TO COMMEMORATE THE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRM.
