MORONG HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING

CONSTRUCTED BY FORCED LABOR, 1881-1883, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF CAPTAIN MAURICIO MATA CRUZ. BECAME THE CAPITOL OF THE GOBIERNO POLITICO-MILITAR OF THE DISTRITO DE MORONG 1884-1896. TAKEN OVER BY THE REVOLUTIONISTS, 1899; BY THE AMERICAN FORCES, 1901; BY THE JAPANESE 1942-1944; BY THE MORONG HIGH SCHOOL, 1945.
