BIRTHPLACE OF WENCESLAO Q. VINZONS

HERE ON 28 SEPTEMBER 1910, WAS BORN WENCESLAO Q. VINZONS, LAWYER, 1933; DELEGATE TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION, 1934; PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR OF CAMARINES NORTE, 1940; CONGRESSMAN, 1941; FIRST LIEUTENANT, RESERVED, PHILIPPINE ARMY. AT THE OUTBREAK OF WORLD WAR II IN THE PHILIPPINES, HE ORGANIZED A CITIZEN ARMY AND FOUGHT VALIANTLY AT LANITON AND TIGBINAN, 17 DECEMBER 1941. CAPTURED TREACHEROUSLY, 6 JULY 1942, AND EXECUTED BY THE ENEMY.
